I'm Amber. I'm a social media & creative strategist, currently using my design and marketing skills for Pongr Media.

I'm a recent grad of the University of Nebraska, and after graduation I planned to find a job in advertising or publishing, or a combo of both. That plan took a slight detour, and I moved in with my parents, because apparently it's hard to pay your rent when you're unemployed. Then that plan took an even bigger detour when I took a job as a nanny and moved in with the family I work for.

I really enjoy photography and graphic design. And reading. Actual books, ones with pages and spines and front and back covers. And also, eating the occasional bowl of rocky road ice cream (ie; at least one a day.)

I'm a dabbler. I like to try new things and I like to learn. And I love to travel. I've been to a lot of places in Europe, but that barely scratches the surface of all the places I'd like to see. I studied abroad in Scotland in Spring 2009 and I'm obsessed with it.
